WELCOME

The deadline for entries is 31st October, 2024!

Journal of Wound Care (JWC) is the only monthly, international, impact factor wound care journal. It is a well-recognised journal and is essential reading for wound care professionals who are serious about providing the best possible support for the people in their care, and those who want to keep on top of the latest thinking and innovative research.

The JWC Awards will once again be hosted at the Imperial War Museum in London on Friday 14th of February 2025. Entries are open so check our entry requirements to ensure you are ready to showcase you, your workplace or a peer's achievements at the upcoming JWC Awards.

Our awards recognise and celebrate excellence in research and practice on both a national and international scale, and provide accolades and recognition for work in the field. Every shortlisted and winning entry will benefit from benchmarking amongst peers, company recognition, an introduction to our esteemed judging panel, presence on the JWC awards website, and on our social media channels, not to mention the introduction to the wider wound care community.

We receive many nominations for our categories, from tissue viability nurses, to doctors and surgeons, to researchers. Our categories represent the ‘bench-to-bedside’ approach that we provide a platform for at JWC. Our categories include Innovation in Surgical Site Infection, Cellular, Acellular and Matrix-Like Products (CAMPs), Antimicrobial Stewardship, and Effective Burn Care.

Entering the awards is free and we especially welcome nominations from authors who have published with JWC before. The closing date for entries is to be announced and finalists will be notified in due course. Our winners will be announced at our awards ceremony that will be held at the Imperial War Museum in London on Friday 14th of February 2025.

We look forward to hearing more about you/your team's successes, progress and hard work during the last year!
